They even threatened the woman’s livelihood, asking her employer to terminate her.

Recipe for Giraffe:

Ingredients –

• 1 giraffe fillet. 
• 1 garlic clove
• 1 white onion
• 1 cup cream
• 1 banana
• 1 teaspoon dry sherry
• 1 jalapeno, sliced and seeded

Directions

1. Put the giraffe fillet (If it isn’t available in your area, a chicken breast will do) in a plastic bag, lay it flat on the counter and fram it with either a frammer or the heel of your hand so it flattens a bit and cooks evenly.
2. Then, after taking it out of the bag (hey, you gotta tell this to some people, you’d be surprised) fry the meat in olive oil on medium heat for seven minutes on each side.
3. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, warm minced garlic and onions in olive oil in a small pan on medium heat.
4. Quickly, before the garlic and onions have a chance to brown, add the jalapenos and, after a moment’s hesitation, pour in the cream and sherry.
5. When the giraffe is almost ready, cut the banana in half lengthwise. Dice one half and throw it in with the sauce, and the other half put in the pan with the giraffe. It will take on some of the flavor of the meat, without any possible germs that it might’ve absorbed earlier.
6. When ready, spoon the sauce over the fillet, serve with the other banana half on the side, and enjoy! (Chef’s Tip—If you forget to wear gloves when handling the peppers, and you learn what they mean when others refer to Hunan Hand, I have found it can be cured by rubbing the palms and fingers with red onion. I have not tried white, yellow, or green onions yet, so I cannot say if they will be effective. And if you have blue onions, call me).

Permit-less Carry Proposed In Michigan.

State Representative Cindy Gamrat (R- District 80) yesterday introduced Michigan HB 4778. HB 4778 will allow for the existing pistol registration to stay in place but allow broad exemptions. Pretty good…. .  I guess.

The exemption:

(8) THIS SECTION DOES NOT APPLY TO AN INDIVIDUAL WHO CARRIES, 19 POSSESSES, OR TRANSPORTS A PISTOL IF ALL OF THE FOLLOWING 20 CONDITIONS ARE MET: 21 (A) THE INDIVIDUAL IS NOT OTHERWISE PROHIBITED FROM POSSESSING 22 A PISTOL. 23 (B) THE INDIVIDUAL IS AT LEAST 21 YEARS OF AGE.

So if you are using your gun legally and over the age of 21 you would be exempt from acquiring or registering your pistol with the state. Under 21 then you still need to register.

But you will still have to have a permit – a license – to buy a handgun in some cases.  That is issued by your local police chief.  The equivalent of “mother may I.”  And you still have to register that handgun… .

Of course this do-gooder misses the point – regulating ammo – ‘scuse me, “bullets” – won’t address her concerns.

If you’re going to write on an issue, and least try and be knowledgeable.  Because nobody ever abuses prescription medicine.  Overdoses, intentional or accidental, never happen anymore.  Pharmacies never get robbed.  And of course we won the war on drugs, didn’t we?

 

 

CAIR slaps Florida Gunstore Owner with Federal Suit.

Andy Hallinan drew national media attention when he announced in early July that he would “not arm and train those who wish to do harm to my fellow patriots” at his Florida Gun Supply in Inverness.

After declaring his shop as a “Muslim free zone”, The Florida chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations filed a federal lawsuit last Wednesday against Hallinan.

Of course, its been said that CAIR, or “The Counsel for American-Islamic Relations” is an organization founded by Hamas supporters which seeks to overthrow Constitutional government in the United States and replace it with an Islamist theocracy using our own Constitution as protection.   A wolf in sheep’s clothing, if you will.

CAIR has been put on the United Arab Emirates’ list of designated terrorist groups.  They were also implicated as an unindicted co-conspirator in a 2007 case against the Holy Land Foundation, which was found guilty of aiding Hamas, a U.S.-designated terror organization.

Not promoting peace or equality, CAIR.  Rather, using our own laws to advance their own agenda.  Their leadership has been rumored to have said in the past that they would expect the US to become Islamic in the future, that they want sharia law implemented, and that they “struggle” with American holidays such as Memorial Day, as that honors US Soldiers.

Hallinan’s attorney, Robert Muise, of the American Freedom Law Center, called the lawsuit “bogus” and that Muslims are not being discriminated against.

“Find in that complaint, one allegation of any Muslim who is discriminated against because of his religious beliefs,” said Muise, You can’t find any because the facts do not exist.”

True.  And I thought that CAIR, as a Plaintiff, they have to have some victim status – they have to have some aggrieved Muslim who has been denied service at Hallinan’s establishment, at the very least.

So, the Complaint should be dismissed.  Hopefully.

Homeowner Slays Drone. Is Arrested.

Homeowner William Merideth shot down a drone as it was allegedly hovering over his property, where his daughter was lounging by the family pool.

The homeowner fetched his shotgun and pumped three helpings of birdshot into the $1,800 drone, taking it out of the air in short order. Shortly thereafter, the drone pilot and three of his friends arrived at Merideth’s property. 

“If you cross that sidewalk onto my property, there’s going to be another shooting,” Merideth says he told the men.

The outcome of this case may set legal precedent or may prompt new legislation, at least in Kentucky.  Merideth is due back in court in September.

French immigration crisis.

Illegal tent camp at Port in Calais.

Apparently, thousands of illegal immigrants flood shipping and transport terminals in Calais France.  In doing so, they threaten truck drivers, police, etc., and also ruin shipments they break into.

French police face off with waves of illegals.

Its causing quite a stir and is becoming very expensive.

Once they make it to Britain, they are fed, provided free clothes and nice soft comfy hotel rooms, to the valid chagrin of many.
