Omar Mateen, supposedly.

…..not surprising, the shooter appears to be a Muslim, ISIS takes to twitter to laud the sicko, and cue Hillary Clinton in 3, 2, 1…..

And if Florida goes the way of California?:

ISIS threatens Algeria, Obama has no Strategy. Still.

Obama recently admits No Strategy on ISIS… .

“Did anyone tell him that it’s his job to develop a strategy?”

The potential threat of ISIS terrorist attacks also has been boosted by news that ISIS accumulated enough radioactive materials in Iraq and Syria to build a “dirty bomb” according to Australian intelligence reports.

Um, wait, that was a long time ago, last fall… ?

Here’s a thought – Obama wants ISIS to flourish.  Part of his “re-making” America.  Well, Mr. President, there are many who don’t want America “re-made.”

Immigrants More Dangerous Than ISIS.

Screen-Shot-2015-05-26-at-4.43.28-PM-862x549Ann Coulter makes a valid point.  x2.  Jorge Ramos is stunned.  That Ramos is here in the US, as Coulter points out, well, that is validation.   The Silence in the interview was golden.

ISIS: key agent of the coming apocalypse.

307796482Graeme Wood asks, What is the Islamic State?

Where did it come from, and what are its intentions? The simplicity of these questions can be deceiving, and few Western leaders seem to know the answers. In December, The New York Times published confidential comments by Major General Michael K. Nagata, the Special Operations commander for the United States in the Middle East, admitting that he had hardly begun figuring out the Islamic State’s appeal. “We have not defeated the idea,” he said. “We do not even understand the idea.” In the past year, President Obama has referred to the Islamic State, variously, as “not Islamic” and as al-Qaeda’s “jayvee team,” statements that reflected confusion about the group, and may have contributed to significant strategic errors.

Well, they better start understanding.

That “religion of peace” thing?  The Koran vs. the Bible?  Some say the bible is also full of directives towards violence and and war.  It is, but the context is debatable.

Christians actually don’t cut the hands off of thieves, stone adulterers, behead those who cannot convert, trade “kuffar” slaves, establish caliphates through jihad, kill cartoonists for drawing the prophet, abuse children, spouses and animals, perform genital mutilation, and scream praise to Jesus while doing any of the above.   In 2014.

Winston Churchill was right.  In 1899:

“How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic
apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries, improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live.

A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and
refinement, the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that
in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property, either as a child, a wife, or a concubine,
must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of
Islam has ceased to be a great power among men.

Individual Muslims may show splendid qualities, but the
influence of the religion paralyses the social development of
those who follow it.

No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from
being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the
science against which it had vainly struggled, the civilization
of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilization of ancient
Rome.”

Sir Winston Churchill; (Source: The River War, first edition,
Vol. II, pages 248-50 London)

The obvious difference is that Christians aren’t waging a full on crusade against muslims, this is not the 13th century, and we don’t seek a return to the stone age.

These guys are animals:

Hydrophobia, of course, is a reference to rabies.

CDC chief warns travel ban could make Ebola crisis worse.

Tom Frieden went on to say,

…that a travel ban could make it difficult to get medical supplies and aid workers to the affected regions in West Africa.

How is that exactly?   A travel ban would not keep aid workers out, or even from coming back in.  Push comes to shove, supplies and health care providers can come and go.  If not by private carrier, or charter, then with these:

What is needed: a ban on the Thomas Duncan’s coming in.  While we’re at it, cancel the passports of those that leave the US to fight for ISIS.

An opportunity for Obama to act wisely for once, by executive order even.

When it matters, he has lost his pen.  Then again, with the current administration and its lack of leadership and organization, this comes as little surprise.

From Ol’Remus:

“Long before it’s over our failure to deny visas to west African nationals, or defend our borders and control immigration at all, will be seen for the unconscionable dereliction of duty it is. Alas, the opportunity is largely foreclosed even now. The mother of all buyer’s regret is just now setting in. Too late. The dark side of globalism is about to have its way with us.”

Just wait until January.

Intel Bulletin Warns of ISIS Urging Jihad Attacks Against U.S. Soldiers at Home

At foxnews.com:

A law enforcement bulletin obtained by FoxNews.com warned that Islamic State fighters have increased calls for “lone wolves” to attack U.S. soldiers in America in recent months, citing one tweet that called for jihadists to find service members’ addresses online and then “show up and slaughter them.”

There will be “a continued call – by Western fighters in Syria and terrorist organizations – for lone offender attacks against U.S. military facilities and personnel,” warned a July law enforcement intelligence bulletin from the Central Florida Intelligence Exchange, a state-run agency that gathers, assesses and shares threat information and works with the Department of Homeland Security. “These threats will most likely increase should the U.S. or its allies attack the Islamic State of Iraq and Sham (ISIS) in Syria or Iraq.”

The tweet reportedly stated:

“You could literally search for soldiers, find their town, photos of them, look for address in Yellowbook or something,” the tweet read. “Then show up and slaughter them.”

Rather than simply say, “sure, let ’em come over here to ‘merica and try that in my neighborhood” (which I did), I see a bigger problem.

First, I am glad we have 2nd amendment rights at least here in Florida, that allow us civilians to protect ourselves when we may have the chance.  Compare that, with this.  Or this.

Second, should not existing policies prohibiting our service men and woman from enjoying the same freedoms be up for review?
