Help from a Judge.

08c05ac4e17a6a165c28eb6c39b04caa-jpgAs far a lawyering goes, in Court, attorneys can have different personalities – differing in the method and mode of interrogation on direct, or cross examination.   Sometimes soft, other times harsh.

I was in Court this week, and a defendant who liked to push his spouse around complained to the Judge that he did not like my tone, that I was insulting him (I wasn’t really).  The judge simply said, “…too bad, you answer his questions, that’s it.”

Hee hee.

Never ask a judge for help in Court.  But its nice when they just do it.

And, the only bad deposition is the one you don’t prepare for.
