Oh, HuffPo?

Normally, I wouldn’t want to give this rag a second glance – but its actually a pretty good pulse on how liberal media thinks.

In the wake of Donald Trump’s election, the news is flooded with reports of abuse, assault, and harassment, largely of minorities, by jubilant Trump supporters celebrating the ascent of their candidate, a candidate who campaigned by appealing to white heterosexual Christian supremacy.

First of all, lets set aside that old adage, “Tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually believe it.”*

Three things:  First, there may have been some idiotic bigots who did this, that, or another which was really and truly wrong.   Just wrong.  But you can’t blame that on Trump.

Second, when is that media going to report on violence against those who support Trump?

They’re not going to.

And finally: Still waiting for Obama, or Clinton, to denouce days of rioting since election night.

We’re going to have to keep waiting, my guess.

*The quote was Joseph Goebbels, the Nazi Minister of Propaganda, of course, who said:

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent [ie – through the press.  Or false narrative], for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

…sounds kinda like the last eight years.
