Who’s Laughing.

From Weaselzippers.com, Feralirishman and posted many other places, I actually watched this video and laughed at the irony.

Of course, Trump was also roasted at the Annual WH Correspondent’s Dinner:

Yes, who’s laughing now.  I wonder though:  There is talk that the left could tinker with the electoral college.  We’ve all seen that talk, but for those who haven’t, here are some opinions/thoughts:

Likely?  I donno.  Its never been done before where it made a difference.  Concerning?  Again, never been done before where it made a difference.   There are some really good reasons why it wouldn’t happen.   But some were kicking this idea around mere months ago.  And now, we know what votes in the college are – the numbers are in.  The left knows the score and they are trying to play the game.

One thought, perhaps irrelevant, perhaps not, from rt.com:

…instead of debating and engaging with people, a huge chunk of Hillary supporters decided anyone who didn’t agree with them was a racist, sexist, uneducated waste of oxygen. In fact, their own candidate even appeared to back them up in this line of thinking by calling Trump supporters “deplorables.”

And of course, they mocked Trump.  Now, some threaten and riot.  The corollary, I suppose, is that if the left is that biased, that unyielding, that – desperate – is an unfaithful electorate all that outside the realm?  Pile on unfavorable biased media, multitudes of civil suits pending against Trump, days upon days of riots that may cause some to question their choice, allegations that Trump cozied up to the Russians or establishment Republicans who held their noses.  Lump it all together with whatever.  Could that make any difference?

I’m going to guess it won’t happen.   Thankfully.

But the pundits, the press, Obama – they didn’t think we would have a President-Elect Trump, did they?
