And it is scarce. Can’t buy .300 Savage at Walmart.

It is a beautiful rifle. Designed in 1892! Produced from 1899 to 1998(!).
I did not know, that during WW1, Canada had it as a service rifle. Wow. I know of no other rifle that was chambered for so many calibers other than .300 Savage, itself an interesting caliber.
My personal connection; Dad has Grandpa’s Savage 99. I’ve had the privilege of shooting this rifle. It is indeed a treat.
