Here’s how to sound off on Obama’s newest anti-gun plan

seniorgunbanFrom WND and GOA –

The fight over the Second Amendment and gun rights in America probably hasn’t been more intense in the last 10 years than it is right now, in the wake of a Muslim using a rifle and a handgun to kill at least 49 people at a “gay” bar in Florida over the weekend.

And coincidentally, Gun Owners of America is noting that right now, Americans have an opportunity to sound off to their own government about Barack Obama’s newest gun restriction proposal.

“Barack Obama understands it is the Second Amendment community that has destroyed his legacy,” the organization explains. “And now, like a rabid dog, he is lashing out in an effort to destroy as many law-abiding gun owners as possible.”

His newest plan would be to abruptly take Second Amendment rights away from a vast class of Social Security and government benefit recipients – anyone with help managing their government benefits and a wide range of other individuals.

The change would make it a crime, instantly, for those individuals to have guns.!

Trial of Ofc. Caesar Goodson has fallen apart.

FreddieGrayAccusedOfficersOn the witness stand for the prosecution was former police commander Stanford O’Neill Franklin, who was supposed to testify that Goodson — who was the driver of the van — had given Gray a “rough ride,” leading to his death.

Franklin, however, couldn’t confirm that a “rough ride” happened at all:

Been there.

I smell acquittal.

Sounds Exciting.

….police tell CBS11 Waise headed to this hospital and harassed employees telling one woman if she didn’t take his Koran she would die and that the hospital would go down.

Police say he next showed up at the courthouse yelling in Arabic and wanting to see judges.

“I could hear somebody being pulled out of the courthouse screaming and yelling,” said attorney and witness Philip Ray. “I couldn’t understand what he was saying but it was at a high volume. I couldn’t see who he was but there were many officers around him.”

Other attorneys inside the court building were hustled into safe areas.

Thank heavens they hustled the attorneys.   Whew!

Screaming and yelling even anywhere near our courthouses here would get a lot of attention.

Yee Hah!

generalleeIn a story of local interest:

CRESTVIEW — A Niceville man on felony probation for fleeing and eluding and multiple drivers’ license suspensions led an Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office deputy on a high-speed chase through a hay field early this morning.

The deputy spotted a blue Ford Focus traveling 80 miles an hour in a 55-mph speed zone around 2:30 a.m. on State Road 85 near Auburn Road north of Crestview.

The car accelerated and then headed east on Bradley Road and into a hay field with two OCSO deputies in pursuit. The driver smashed through hay bales, went down a power line trail, and at times became airborne due to the high speeds.

When the car became disabled, the driver, later identified as 33-year-old James Jenkins, got out holding a large beer can and began to run toward the wood line, according to an OCSO media release. Once he reached the wooded area he dropped the can and ran head first into a tree, receiving a minor cut over his right eye.

Airborne.  Tried to save his beer.  Hay bales.—gets-handcuffs

AR-15’s Flying Off Shelves.

Since the Orlando nightclub shooting on Sunday, gun sales have rapidly increased throughout the United States.

Adventure Outdoors Owner Jay Wallace told Fox Business Network’s Stuart Varney that sales of AR-15s and other firearms have “really kicked up” since Sunday.

AR-15’s may look like military rifles but they are actually semi-automatic guns, which means they can only fire one round with each pull of the trigger. By contrast, military-style guns have the ability to fire multiple rounds with one pull of the trigger. The ‘AR’ in AR-15 actually stands for ArmaLite rifle, named after the company that developed it and does not stand for “assault rifle,” according to the National Shooting Sports Foundation.

Maybe time to go shopping…. .

Sen. Reid says Waht?

76e68f3a8e6ffa036b0f6a706700b4aaSpeaking on the Senate floor earlier this week, Reid claimed Americans want stricter gun control.

“More than 80% of Americans want to close so-called terror loopholes, preventing people on terror watch lists from purchasing firearms,” Reid said.

“Yet in spite the public’s demand for action Senate Republicans continue to cower – cower before the NRA and the Gun Owners of America. The NRA is bad, really bad. Gun Owners of America is even worse than bad.”

Boy that’s rich.

Senate Republicans are cowering before the Democrats.
