20 – bucks at a garage store.  Then some high-temp paint.  Oh Boy do I love this thing.

Used to cook on them on the regular.   They can boil water very fast.  When we camped out in sub-zero, we had to use paste to heat that tube.

  1. We’d use a few drops of gas on the burner to preheat the gas generator tube. Works every time no matter how cold (at least to the -20’s).

    Remember to pack a spare leather and a spare gas cap!
